Safe moving and handling is essential for reducing workplace injuries, protecting staff and ensuring the people you support are moved with dignity, comfort and confidence. Organisations have a responsibility to ensure staff understand how to move loads, equipment and individuals safely, following best‑practice guidance and meeting expectations set by CQC, Ofsted and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). Moving & Handling of Objects (Load Handling)
Duration: Half‑day Delivery: In‑House
Suitable for: All staff who lift, carry or move objects, equipment or loads
Course Introduction
This course provides essential training for anyone who handles loads or equipment as part of their role. It focuses on safe techniques, posture, risk assessment and injury prevention, helping staff work confidently and safely while reducing the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
